The Board of Directors of SMTEC AG has promoted Christian Schürpf to Head of Production as of February 1, 2023. In this role, he is responsible for the areas of production, planning, and technology.

Kleinandelfingen, February 9, 2023 With the appointment of Christian Schürpf, SMTEC AG expands its management team. “The increasing complexity in our industry and the pleasing growth of SMTEC AG requires a broadening of the management team. We are pleased to fill this position with an excellent specialist and leader from within our own ranks,” said Reto May, CEO of SMTEC AG. “In his role as a member of the management team, Christian will be responsible for our entire value chain in the future. In addition, he will help shape the strategic direction together with our leadership team.”

Christian Schürpf (33) began his career at SMTEC in March 2021 and has successfully led the planning/AVOR area since then. In a secondary role, he was a project manager for the further development of the implemented ERP system. With his expertise and great commitment, the trained polymechanic with a higher education degree in business processes has made a significant contribution to the successful development of SMTEC AG over the past two years.
